Well after registering dejavugames.com, setting up an email I'm now jumping into creating this website to get things rolling. I'm not really a into blogs, can't say as I've read many but hey this is the way things are done now days so I'll play along and get things started (at least for now lol).
Basically I created dejavugames.com to be the name of my company that I plan on developing games for. why Dejavu Games you may ask?
Well that really goes back to my first experiences with online gaming. When I first started playing Doom after work on the LAN the whole instant re-spawning after death just gave me a sense of DejaVu so I started naming my character DejaVu. I proceeded to play games over the internet like Quake and used that name and over time I just got into the habit of naming myself DejaVu when playing online FPS. While I was able to "secure" DejaVu on many of the earlier online video games eventually it came to the point where someone else would get the idea to grab DejaVu first so I started naming myself cbDejaVu (basically put my initials in front of it). So pretty much today everything from my Xbox gamer tag to most games I play I use cbDejaVu.
Really that is the basis behind DejaVu Games as a name for my company.
Anyway what type of game do I have in store for the world you may be wondering at this point? Well basically you'll have to wait until my next post to find out. Stay tuned.
